stories floating through time
After learning graphic design, I've started to see shapes, patterns, and compositions everywhere I go. With a filmmaking background, I pay attention to light, shadow and most importantly, story. All these different aspects have influenced my photography. When you look at these photos, try to guess which aspects I wanted to highlight. :)
street
architecture, lines, hustle & bustle
When I went to New York for the first time, I came to appreciate each and every block that I passed. I started to see everything as a canvas. From the towering buildings to the passing subways, I was fascinated by the compositions that presented themselves before me. What fascinated me the most was how light and shadow danced onto the buildings around golden hour. It added another element for me to play with.
nature
stepping into another world
Nature is so beautiful. Photography has allowed me to capture the beauty that isn't designed by us. There is an array of patterns that have influenced the art we see today. When we are able to appreciate this beauty, we can learn to respect it and the one who designed it.

product
Shooting products adds a layer of control, especially when shooting indoors. I can build and manipulate the environment and scene of which the products are placed in through the use of props, lighting, etc. The challenge is usually finding the balance of highlighting the product itself along with the context around it.
